The AgroTransilvania Cluster is open for collaboration based on mutual agreement and advantage with other clusters in the agri-food field. The AgroTransilvania Cluster had already identified potential international partners (companies, national authorities, professors, counselors etc.) within the following countries: The Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany, Iraq, Denmark, France, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, China, South Korea and the list is open.As the actual strategy of the AgroTransilvania Cluster comprises the internationalization process, and some steps have been achieved in this direction, there is an increased interest in getting in direct contact with international partners. The cluster matchmaking event is important as it gives the opportunity to discuss face to face with the potential partners, which enhance the trust and the credibility for the common projects. It will give the opportunity, as well, to increase the cluster visibility, since it is a relatively new structure (from 2013).

, AgroTransilvania Cluter is interested to find partners interested to be involved into mutual collaborations regarding:
- AgroTransilvania Cluster developed relations into the North part of Iraq (Sulaimany) in order to knowledge transfer for universities, authorities and companies in frame of cluster development and agricultural and food industry development of the region. One of the initiative is related to development of a big commercial centre and, having in mind the regional proximity of the region to Iran, most of the products will be imported from Iran (and Turkey). So, there is an interest to find valuable partners into.
- technology/knowledge transfer for the 7 food and security laboratories that has to be developed in the next year, and service offers for importers/exporters form/to Europe or Brazil in certifying the safety and the quality of the food and beverage products and to design and implement new products and technology for agriculture and food industry, including the ones able to improve the use of Renewable Energy (solar, biomass) and Biogas. AgroTransilvania Cluster is already involved into H2020 application proposals in frame of renewable energy and Biogas use for agricultural and food products.
- third partners to involve them into creation of Institute for Food & Beverage Origin Products, set up together with European and non-European partners. The Institute is meant to promote the certified products and to offer them a competitive advantage
- as part of the Consortium of Cluster from North-West of Romania, AgroTransilvania Cluster is disseminating information and collaboration offers and requests from clusters and their companies in field of furniture, IT, renewable energy, creative industry and gastronomy.
